CLUB RULES
"Alcoholics Only" Club
Policy
The Post Oak Club was founded and remains
a "Closed" club. This means that the Club's meeting rooms
and other facilities are for the use of those whose problem is with their
own use of alcohol. No "significant others", no matter how
close, are to be in the club at any time, for any purpose.
In accordance with the 3rd
Tradition of
A.A., anyone who has a desire to stop drinking is WELCOME to Post Oak
Group, including those with drug-related or other problems in addition to
alcoholism, and those who are not quite sure whether or not they are
alcoholic. Persons, however, whose only interest in A. A. is helping or coping with alcoholic loved ones, while we sincerely
appreciate and encourage their efforts, will have to attend one of the
many excellent "open" clubs, where they will find others who
share their problems.
All meetings are non-smoking,
but we do have outdoor accommodations for smokers.
